the 2000's

Technological advances have come a long way since the 1800's. From the radio to the telephone, from fire works to space ships, from pen and paper to highly advanced laptops. Technology has advanced so much that the minute a new computer comes out for sale it instantly becomes obsolete. One of the many most important inventions of today is probably the car because without it people would still be using bicycles and horses to travel long distances. regardless of concerns directed at the rapid increase of newer technologies it has be come a key feature in our lives. lets just hope that it wont go as far as the fat people in the hover chairs in the Disney pixar film Wall- E.

this is such a sad news report

this is such a sad news report

three women who went missing separately about a decade ago, when they were in their teens or early 20s, had been tied up but were found alive Monday in a residential area just south of downtown, and three brothers were arrested, police said.

One of the women told a 911 dispatcher the person who had taken her was gone, and she pleaded for police officers to come and get her, saying, "I'm free now."

Aire yes/ no, why?

a brand new apple product has just been proposed. completely revolutionizing the way we as a human race go about charging our universally charged devices such as cell phones, i pods and mp3's. this device as its name suggests uses air from our lungs to spin dozens of micro- turbines to generate enough power to charge most small mobile devices. through the tough and insulting reviews on the idea have had a relatively hurtful impact on AIRE, i think that it will have a strong chance at selling on a global market scale, thanks to its potential to lower the human carbon footprint, we don't need to worry about the amount of electricity the average person uses to charge their mobile devices each year.

whos been popping off texas prosecutors?

many government officials fear for their lives when two months before two state officials were murdered in a daytime shooting, and now a government official and his wife were murded in there own home, in Kaufman Texas. this investigation is so severe that the fbi has become involved in aiding the search for the killer. offials suspect the killer to be a white supremacist(s) affiliated to the deceased suspect in a previous shooting earlier this year.these killings are questioned to be retributioned for some conflict between the state and the killer or other government officials.

North Koreans threaten to bomb the US... Again.

they're completely ignorant of the many US B-52 Stratofortresses Bombers, B-2 stealth bombers, and the F-22 Raptors prepped, primed, and ready for launch just over the border, are fully prepared to rain death and hell upon north Korea, should the threat of an impending nuclear strike against the US become true.

The mighty Saturn V

The Mighty Saturn V
On October 4, 1957, the Soviet Union put the first artificial satellite into space called Sputnik. This event went about triggering a competition between the US and the Soviet Union to put a man on the moon. The race to the moon was one of the most significant leaps, technologically, in history, bringing about the development of a new age of technology allowing the human race to live in the most hostile environment known to man, space. The race to the moon was won by the US, when they had successfully built, tested and launched the biggest rocket the world has ever seen, the Saturn V, with three very brave astronauts strapped tightly to the top. The Saturn V rocket dominates over anything man made, as the world’s most powerful controllable machine to have ever been built.
Before the moon bound launch of the mighty Saturn V, there had been many other launches to test the design of the rocket in order to ensure the safety of the crew of three on the Apollo Eleven. Prior to Apollo Elevens moon mission, (insert list of missions) many more missions were performed in order to test different goals and objectives, as well as to see if there were any health risks in extended zero gravity exposure. When the Saturn V rocket took off the crew experienced vertical vibrations strong enough to make it next to near impossible to see the control panel. The Saturn V rocket has the capability to produce incredibly massive amounts of thrust every second.
One way the Saturn V is the most powerful controllable machine ever built is shown through its overall thrust capabilities. The first stage’s five F-1 engines, for which the ‘V’ in Saturn V stands for, are capable of producing over seven and a half million pounds of thrust per second. As a direct result of the engines incredibly immense power output, the first stage glutinously consumed two and a half tons of fuel every second. Even though the rocket, upon launch, weighed over six million pounds it was still able to reach speeds exceeding supersonic in less than sixty seconds. Bt the time the rocket had begun its one and half orbits around the earth, it was effortlessly cruising through the heavens at a speed of seventeen thousand miles per hour. When the Saturn V reached an escape velocity of around thirty six thousand miles per hour, it broke away from earth and through the tops of the heavens and began its journey to the moon.

quite shocking indeed.

a new type of chewing gum is in the process of development. it has quite an electric flavor... literally  it contains chewy edible pellets that react with the enzymes in your saliva and emit an electrical charge. it appears to be perfect for pranks but is still under development.

for many many years there has been conflict between the Protestents and the Catholics in Northern Ireland. The Protestants wish to be a part of the United Kingdom, while the Catholics wish to be a part of Ireland. recently a silent protest occurred when more than one thousand protesters gathered in belfast carrying large Union flags. a century old tradition of flying the Union flagg over city hall three hundred and sixty five days a year was recently reduced by Belfast's city council to eighteen days a year. what started out as peaceful turned when the protestants passed a catholic neighborhood where they threw bottles at each other resulting in skirmishes with the police.
french military strive determined to wipe terrorism off the slate in Mali. through combined air and ground assaults on terrorist and rebel strongholds they hope to drive rebel forces out of Mali.

um... yeah.

500 +israeli police are sent to forcefully evacuate the E1 construction location of protesters trespassing on a 5 sq mile location which will be the building site for 3,000 plus living complexes in the west bank.

Raspberry Pi Anyone?

new technology enables us to make advancements in the world we thought we might never see. thanks thanks to Upton the rpi is possibly the worlds smallest computer and definitely the cheapest, selling at a price of twenty five dollars. being the size of a credit card and less than a centimeter thick, it is able to run a free open-source linux operating system, plugs into any tv, can power 3d graphics, connects to the internet, has two usb ports, an sd card slot, an ethernet connection port, and is charged by a universal usb mobile charger. when rpi launched its release on the market it sold out ten thousand immediately. this product is perfect for DIY geeks who program their own computer software and let their imaginations run wild.

sad.

a woman in new delhi, india died this month due to the resulting infection from a violent gang rape. the police have already arrested six suspects including a bus driver and a minor. people have began protesting and demanding for more protection to women and more punishment to those behind assaults. the protests are so large that police have closed down roads, public transportation, and the subways in certain areas. the woman was airlifted to singapore for treatment. doctors say that she died “peacefully” early saturday. she had suffered severe organ failure and injuries to her body and brain. though her name has not been released protesters are calling her damini, meaning lightning in hindi.

man or cyborg?

A man was born with a disease that slowly degrades your eyesight. Over the course of many years he became blind and had to rely on the help of others to do even the simplest tasks of everyday life. Thanks to more modern technology he was able to undergo a surgery that involved the placing of a microchip and other components into his eyes that projected an image onto his retinas and gave him back his sight. Or as he said his “independence”. Though his sight is extremely blurry he can still pick out shapes and colors. He no longer has to depend on others to help him because he can now do it all on his own.
